SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY

Social Security Disability (SSD) benefits are cash payments made to you if you are verifiably disabled, have a work history, and have paid Social Security taxes to acquire sufficient quarters of coverage.

 

Generally, SSD Insurance benefits are available if you:

​

• Are not currently working in any capacity,

​

• Have a work history showing you have earned substantial wages and paid Social Security taxes to acquire sufficient quarters of coverage, and​

​

• Can show that your medically determined conditions and resulting functional limitations (physical or mental) prevent you from working your former job or a similar job with another employer, or that those limitations prevent you from performing other jobs that exist in significant numbers in the national economy.

These requirements seem simple, but Social Security regulations are not.  We help you walk through the maze required to be successful in getting SSDI benefits awarded to you.
